Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Taste of Place website at jointasteofplace.org (the "Site"), operated by the World Food Travel Association ("WFTA", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site is the public platform for the Taste of Place movement — a global initiative to protect and celebrate culinary heritage. It allows individuals to sign the Taste of Place Declaration, become members of the movement, and access content related to food culture, heritage, and travel.

2. Eligibility

By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age. Membership in the Taste of Place movement is open to individuals worldwide. Organizational accounts are not offered — membership is personal and non-transferable.

3. Membership

3.1 Free Membership (Declaration Signatory)

Signing the Taste of Place Declaration creates a free individual membership. As a signatory, your name may be listed in the public Declaration Signatories directory, with your consent. You may request removal of your name at any time.

3.2 Supporting Membership

You may choose to upgrade to a Supporting Membership for a fee of €25 per year (or the equivalent in applicable currency). Supporting Members receive additional recognition and contribute directly to the financial sustainability of the movement. Supporting Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at info@worldfoodtravel.org.
